Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Everything you create stays on your device. Invoicely has no servers and no accounts, so your invoices, clients, products, and payments never leave your iPhone unless you share a PDF yourself.
How do I back up my invoices?
Because data is on-device, the simplest backup is Apple’s device backup (iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup), which can include the app’s data. You can also export individual invoices and receipts as PDFs and save them wherever you like.
What templates are available?
There are five designs: Classic, Modern, Bold, Minimal, and Corporate. You can preview any of them live before exporting, and add a PAID watermark once an invoice is settled.
Can I record partial payments?
Yes. You can record full or partial payments against an invoice. The balance due and status update automatically, and an invoice is marked Paid once the balance reaches zero. You can also issue a receipt as a PDF.
Which currencies are supported?
Invoicely supports 180+ currencies using standard ISO-4217 codes, with locale-aware formatting (including currencies that have no decimal places, such as JPY and IDR). You can set a default currency per business and change it per invoice.
Can I use more than one business?
Yes. You can set up multiple businesses, each with its own details, invoice number prefix, default currency, and tax settings. Your selected business details appear on the invoice.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. There are no accounts and nothing to subscribe to. The app works fully offline.
